Türkiye Health Data Research and Artificial Intelligence Applications Institute attended Future Health Technologies- Genomics Congress.
TUSEB on December 8-9, 2023. Supported by the Presidency of Strategy and Budget of the Republic of Türkiye in 2022 and led by TUSEB, our institute is one of the stakeholders of Türkiye National Genome and Bioinformatics Project. The project aimed to analyze and share genetic data within the scope of the project. Supported by the Türkiye Health Data Research and Artificial Intelligence Applications Institute, “Türkiye Genome Data Sharing Portal”, one of the outcomes of “Türkiye Genome Analysis and Sharing Project (98 Whole Genomes)”, was introduced by Assoc. Prof. Mehmet BAYSAN. The project involves sharing 98 whole genome data sequenced by using Next-Generation Sequencing technology and analyzed using artificial intelligence algorithms.
“Genomics and Bioinformatics” panel, which had featured presentations by academics on various studies ranging from drug discovery to the application of artificial intelligence methods in RNA sequencing, was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Ali CAKMAK on December 9, 2023.
