RADİS Technical Launch Held at HIMSS Eurasia 2025

Within the scope of HIMSS Eurasia 2025, the technical launch of RADİS – the Radiology Clinical Decision Support System, representing a major milestone in Türkiye’s artificial intelligence–driven healthcare transformation, was successfully held.

During the technical launch session, chaired by the President of TÜYZE, participants were presented with an in-depth overview of RADİS, including its historical development, design philosophy, artificial intelligence and large language model (LLM)–based scenario and scoring infrastructure, big data architecture, and real-time clinical decision support outputs demonstrated through a live system demo.

It was emphasized that RADİS has been developed in alignment with the Ministry of Health’s digital transformation vision, supported by the scientific infrastructure of TÜSEB–TÜYZE, and strengthened by Türkiye’s robust domestic health technology ecosystem. Acknowledgement was given to HeviAI, Curea Inc., Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Medikte, and the dedicated project teams for their valuable contributions.

Addressing Unnecessary Imaging Through Intelligent Decision Support

Reference was made to the awareness campaign conducted by the European Society of Radiology (ESR) in collaboration with HERCA, which highlights that up to 40% of CT examinations in some European countries may be unnecessary. These findings underscore that clinical decision support systems and intelligent referral criteria are no longer optional, but essential components of modern healthcare systems.

RADİS directly addresses this critical need by contributing to the reduction of unnecessary imaging, improving clinical accuracy, ensuring efficient use of healthcare resources, and enhancing patient safety.

With the technical launch of RADİS at HIMSS Eurasia 2025, Türkiye once again demonstrated its determination to move beyond being a follower in digital health, positioning itself as a regional and global leader shaping the future of healthcare technologies.
