A New Data-Driven Era in Healthcare Highlighted at the TÜSAP 2025 Vision Meeting
The final TÜSAP Vision Meeting of 2025 marked a significant gathering where data-driven transformation in healthcare—powered by artificial intelligence and high-performance computing—was comprehensively discussed. During the meeting, the President of TÜYZE delivered the keynote address, sharing the strategic vision for the future of the national healthcare system and presenting the ongoing flagship initiatives.
Operating as one of the most comprehensive strategic think-tank platforms shaping health policies in Türkiye, TÜSAP brings together public institutions, academia, the private sector, and civil society under a single umbrella. Within this framework, concrete, sustainable, and scalable national projects developed under TÜYZE were introduced to TÜSAP members.
These projects included ARİS, the on-device automated radiographic reporting platform; RADİS, the national radiology clinical decision support system; METRA, the national mammography diagnosis and autonomous cancer screening system; DİGİPATH, the digital pathology transformation project; GENOM, the national genomics initiative; and HP-CARE, TÜYZE’s High-Performance Computing Center.
In his address, the President of TÜYZE emphasized the role of artificial intelligence in healthcare, underlining that AI should not be perceived merely as a substitutive technology, but rather as a strategic partner that enhances clinical value and strengthens physicians’ decision-making capacity. He stated that this approach forms the foundation of a new, quality-oriented era in healthcare.
At the conclusion of the meeting, appreciation was expressed to Prof. Dr. Sabahattin Aydın, Chairman of the TÜSAP Executive Board, and Mr. Feyzullah Akben, Member of the TÜSAP Executive Board and Secretary General, for their kind invitation, as well as to all stakeholders who contributed to the realization of this visionary gathering.
