Türkiye Health Data Research and Artificial Intelligence Applications Institute and National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) Division of Interdisciplinary Training held an online meeting on November 15, 2023. The president of Türkiye Health Data Research and Artificial Intelligence Applications Institute (TÜYZE) Prof. Songul VARLI, TUYZE team, Head of Foreign Affairs Department Fatih KARADEMİR and Director of National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) Division of Interdisciplinary Training Dr. Zeynep ERİM, program director of extramural funding of undergradutates to post-docs Dr. Dave GUTEKUNST, R13 support for conferences program director Khalil CHUGHTAI and regional officer Dr. Ranjan GUPTA attended the meeting. Introducing TÜSEB and TÜYZE, Prof. VARLI talked about the projects, trainings and competitions hold under the umbrella of TÜYZE. Dr. ERIM, talked about Division of Interdisciplinary Training, one of the programs under Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB), in addition to that, she talked about the training fundings and grants in detail. In the meeting, NIH funding opportunities for researchers in Türkiye were given. Dr. ERİM and her colleagues shared their wisdom about possible training programs applied for artificial intelligence in health.
