The President of Türkiye Health Data Research and Artificial Intelligence Applications Institute held a meeting a with T.C. Ministry of Health General Directorate of Health Information Systems
Turkish Institute of Health Data Research and Artificial Intelligence Applications (TÜYZE) and the Republic Türkiye Ministry of Health General Directorate of Health Information Systems (SBSGM) held a meeting on January 24, 2024, at the Istanbul Koşuyolu campus of the Health Institutes of Türkiye (TÜSEB). The meeting, led by Prof. Dr. Songül VARLI, included TÜYZE researchers Asst. Prof. Habib ÖZDEMİR, Asst. Prof. Nurullah ÇALIK, Res. Asst. Dr. Mecit YÜZKAT and Lecturer Yasemin TOPUZ and the Project Development Department Head of the General Directorate of Health Information Systems Nihat Barış SEBİK, Data Management Department Head Dr. Özgür SEZER, Project Manager Fatih ALAMUR from the General Directorate of Health Information Systems and from Artificial Intelligence Unit of the General Directorate of Health Information Systems Güray ARIK.
SBSGM team discussed the scope of ongoing and planned artificial intelligence projects within their directorate. TÜYZE President Prof. Dr. Songül VARLI shared information about the internal projects carried out in our institute and the projects planned in 2024. The TÜYZE team and SBSGM officials exchanged views on potential collaborations and concluded the meeting with the intention of meeting again regarding future projects.
