Our Artificial Intelligence Institutes Article Featured on the Cover of Laboratory Investigation Journal
Another achievement has been added to the digital pathology project that the Turkey Health Data Research and Artificial Intelligence Applications Institute (TÜYZE) has been working on for some time.
The article titled "CNMI-YOLO: Domain Adaptive and Robust Mitosis Identification in Digital Pathology", authored by TÜYZE researcher Lecturer Yasemin TOPUZ as the first author and co-authored by the Institute President, Prof. Dr. Songül VARLI, has been published in Laboratory Investigation, one of the leading journals in Computational Pathology, under the USCAP (United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology).
The article, which aims to robustly detect mitotic cells, one of the most important indicators of cancer prognosis, independent of cancer type, has been selected as the cover for the October 2024 issue (Volume 104, Issue 10) of Laboratory Investigation.
